Following on from the success of AUSA in October last year, the design of the stand was again intended to look like a makeshift camp bar made from Concertainer® units. However, whereas in Washington we were serving alcohol, here in the Muslim Middle East, we served only coffee. So refreshments at this exhibition were courtesy of the HESCO Coffee Bar, serving free Starbucks quality coffee.

The coffee bar was continually busy throughout the show with patrons ranging from businessmen to HRH Prince Andrew and the Australian Chief of Defence Staff. We even had a feature on local television!

Around 30,000 visitors attended The 7th International Exhibition and Conference (IDEX 2005), with more than 900 companies from some 50 countries showcasing the latest defence equipment and technologies.
