SPC Lauren Agnoni of HHC 2 BCT 28 ID, submitted this winning photograph of SPC Samantha Kerschner taking cover beside a HESCO Concertainer to avoid fire.
SPC Lauren Agnoni is currently stationed in Iraq, and is eagerly awaiting to be presented with her Harley Davidson Fat Boy motorcycle on her return home to the States in June 2006.
On being contacted with the news that her photograph had secured first prize, SPC Agnoni said “Are you serious! .... I'm in Iraq right now.... Ive been out here forever........this'll be the best homecoming I could ever hope for!" |

Judges were looking for inspirational and creative digital photographs of Hesco Concertainer® units being deployed in military or defence environments. The winning photograph captured exactly what the judges were looking for; interesting composition, sound construction and an excellent quality image.
SPC Lauren Agnoni from Pennsylvania was awarded first prize for the best overall entry beating over 900 entries. The judges were overwhelmed by the quality and also the quantity of entries for this the second year of the photo competition.
In addition to SPC Agnoni winning a Harley Davidson, five runners-up will receive a 60Gb video Apple iPod for their efforts. The five runners-up were GySgt Thomas Daly of MALS 26 MAG 25, SSG James Archer of D Co. 44th Signal Bn, Capt Jeremy Robinson of 51 Para Sqn RE, E-5/Sgt Thomas Scanlon of A 1-167 CAV. 2 BCT, and SSG Robert Whitehair of MALS-26 (REIN).
HESCO Bastion would like to thank all the entrants for taking part in the competition and wish SPC Agnoni every happy happiness with her Harley once she returns from Iraq.
